We enjoyed a little hike on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and it was nice to have the family time. We all sorts of animals including a frog pond. This picture is just of one frog but the pond probably had close to a hundred frogs in the pond. It was fun to watch them.
We rode the Swan Boats in Boston Common. That was a fun little boat ride and gave us a nice chance to rest our tired feet!

At Fanueil Hall some guys were do a dance show (to collect money). They pulled Ben, Brock, Austin and Kiley out of the audience. They danced with them for a bit and then lined them up and did flips over the top of them. If you click on this picutre it will blow up bigger and they are coming down from both flipping over them. It was cool.
We took a boat in Boston Harbor over to the Bunker Hill Monument (basically to that end of the Freedom Trail) it was a cool way to see the city. It is also jelly fish mating season so the water was full of jelly fish.
This is the Bunker Hill Monument. We hiked all the way to the top of this monument - 294 steps (no elevator) my calves are still sore.
We also went and saw the Manhattan temple. It was so neat. The church basically turned a sky rise building into the temple. The ward building and the temple (and I think the mission office) is all right there. The ward building was off to the side on the main floor and the temple up above. You could see and feel the difference from there and the rest of the city for one thing everyone there came out happy (unlike the rest of the city)!
FAO Schwartz was a lot of fun. There were all sorts of lego images that were very cool. There were mainly Star Wars and Harry Potter images. They had to have taken forever to build.
At M&M world we had fun with the race car on display and modeled the jackets for them that they were selling!
Butterflies kept landing on us while we were walking. It was the coolest thing we could touch them and hold them and they didn't fly away.
It was a nice evening until the rain started. It actually wasn't too bad just mostly a drizzle but we were there 3 hours before the fireworks started, so when they started we were cold, wet and READY! The fireworks show, we all agreed, is the best show there is. They even had part of the show to the seasame street song and throughout the song fireworks were shot off in the shapes of squares, circles, the numbers 1, 2 ,3 etc. It was very cool. There were even fireworks that were a straight line (it looked like a worm) but it had parachutes connected to them so they slowly came down as they still burned. During the grand finale it was already overcast and there were so many fireworks at once that you could barely see them. It was just awesome well worth the wait. Happy 4th of July everyone.
Josh was hilarious he go to the wave (not close just by the wave) and would shake his bum and act like he was one cool kid cause he was going up againdst something so huge. Then before the wave would even get remotely close to him he would laugh and take off running. It was so cute. What a great day.
