The last day before school started I asked the boys what they wanted to do. They wanted to go to the beach and Meghan wanted to watch the sunrise. We can combine that into one day and make it win win for everyone!
We went to a place just North of Boston to watch the sunrise. This location just happened to be in the same area that Ben served his mini mission and it just happened to be those missionaries pday so Ben invited them to join us.

These two became such good friends while Meghan was here and that makes me so happy.

We brought home made cinnamon rolls, played on the beach and visited.
Ben loved seeing the Elders and the Sisters again.

Then we parted ways and drove north to the beach.
IT WAS THE PERFECT BEACH DAY.
We love this beach because of the waves but I must say for the last year or so the waves have been lacking big time.
But this beach trip took us back to the waves we used to know. BIG, HUGE and AWESOME. I should specifiy that I mean New England they probably averaged 5-6ft some of the waves were 6-8 ft. For us that's big. I posted a few pictures so you can get the idea.
We didn't hang out on the beach much so I don't have very many pictures but we had a blast in the water.

Although, since we had all been up since 3am we all took a nap at some point throughout the day.

Luke made us a couch with shade!

I love this picture.
Meghan was determined to learn how to skim board while she was here. Ben and Luke both know how to do it pretty well so the 3 of them spent a few hours on the boards. I've tried skim boarding. It's a lot harder then it looks so rather then joining them, I took the easy way out and took their picture. :)
I got pictures of the good, bad and the ugly!
