I have a new calling.
I'm the girls camp director for our stake.
Ugh. I haven't been to girls camp since high school, I know nothing about girls camp and now I need to plan it for more than 100 girls? Oh my.
Thankfully, I was called before this years girls camp so I was able to attend as an observer and at least try to grasp the concept of what happens at girls camp.
Youth conference ended on Saturday evening and Monday I was unpacked and packed again or girls camp.
Jessica is a hair stylest and knows how to do hair well so when I asked her for "braids like corn rows" she gave me corn rows.
OH MY!
It took me hours (maybe even a day or two) before I wasn't in completely in SHOCK with my new look every time I looked in the mirror.

I embraced the look with my gold tooth and bandana. ;-)

Girls camp was good, overwhelming at times but as long as I have those amazing leaders by my side and the amazing youth leaders who pretty much ran camp then we should be ok.

I mentioned the amazing youth in the youth conference post, after another week with these youth I realized that they're even more amazing then I had realized before.
As for the hair, I kept it in (I did give it a wash job when I got home) until Sunday and went with poofy hair for church. I kinda liked having crazy hair every once and awhile maybe I'll do corn rows more often!
Jessica does crazy hair all the time, yay for me I fit in the crazy hair day club!
